DPDR EXPERT Shares WHY You Can’t Feel Sad, Angry & Cry & What You Are Doing Wrong – Giuseppe Tavella

An “emotional numbness” issue is very often a “need for control” issue.

What you THINK is the problem: I can’t enjoy life, I don’t feel love, I don’t feel angry, I can’t cry, I don’t feel sad, I don’t have emotions.

What is REALLY the problem: I don’t want to feel unprepared, I don’t want this “future unpredictable emotion” to catch me off guard,

I need to remain constantly vigilant in case an emotion erupts and overwhelms me, I need to keep a certain impression people have of me, I’m not giving myself the permission to feel and express my real emotions, I’m scared of myself. 😌

Controlling your emotions, wanting to leave a certain impression in people’s minds, being scared of your emotions and all the points i’ve mentioned above —

trauma is a major contributor to emotional numbness but people often forget that it’s also these seemingly innocent psychological games we play in our minds that contributes to emotional numbness.

By being aware of them you can start changing them for the better, and that’s exactly what I’m going to be teaching you in this video.
