People say they want to solve their problems, but at the same time they’re not willing to do what it takes to apply the solution.
In dissociation, it means that you don’t want dissociation (who wants it!?) but at the same time you don’t want to feel the real feelings that dissociation is protecting you from and you don’t want to take responsibility for them.
Basically we want to remove the protection but at the same time we don’t to grow as a person and get stronger, and you want neither the problem nor the solution. 😅
In this video I’m going to talk about depersonalization and emotional numbness and answer the question “can depersonalization cause numbness?”.
